"Garden Jizos - Danvers Community Gardens"

Back when I was doing The Jizo Project, 

for whatever reason, I bought some

Jizos on Amazon as well. They've

just hung out here at the

house even though

most of their 

handmade

friends

have long ago

left them. I had the

thought today that they

should be out in the world too.

I took one and placed him next to 

a larger Jizo in one of the garden patches

at Danvers Community Gardens. The other

one I placed at the base of a tree

outside a closed-for-the-winter

artist studio on Rocky Neck

in Gloucester. The artist 

had previously put

a small door

at the

base

of her tree,

making it look like

it was a Hobbit house.

The door was a perfect size

for the Jizo. He seems to fit in

well with his new surroundings.
