Fuck. I liked that mug and the other Satanic Temple mug that I got for Christmas and the "Hail Satan" t-shirt that I got for Christmas.. I liked em all.. and they all had to go into the trash.. I hooked up with these people when Texas Christians decided to stand on the necks of women about reproductive rights. There was nothing around that had a high enough profile or interest in acting as a counterbalance to Christianity's influence on the Empire.. I mean - Democrats, as with many things, are unable/unwilling to do it. But - today as I was reading one of the atheist blogs I subscribe to - I got a peek under the covers at The Satanic Temple (TST) and its leadership. It ain't pretty. If you follow the last link in the post - you'll see what I'm referring to. You'll find a link to a transcript of a 24-hour radio special. It's fucking radioactive. Holy fuck. I contacted TST and asked to be taken off their membership rolls. They were very polite and prompt in getting back to me. I'm no longer connected to them. Oh well.. back to the drawing board to find a real and lasting solution to the very real threats* that Christianity poses to the country. *threats - Anti-vaxx, anti-science, book burning, book banning, Donald Trump's re-election, the end of democracy, anti women's reproductive rights, anti-gay, anti-trans... I could go on and on... |
