Perspective

Parker River Wildlife Refuge

"Quartz Ribbons In Basalt"

Canon G7x Mark II
SnapSeed

This beautiful rippled boulder, lashed by incoming tide, was unfazed by any of it, not the tide, not the cold, not my whiny problems.

She is millions and millions of years old, after all. She used to be part of a huge molten river of basalt - glowing orange at 1200F.

So - what is any of this to her?

Nothing - that's what..

That's one of the reasons I love her.
