The Kids Are Alright

 

 

[Disclosure - although blunt and emotional - there is no (zero) daylight between Ana Kasparian's point of view and my own.] The mid-terms could have been a fucking bloodbath. We could now be up to our fucking necks in seditionist,know-nothing, theocrats.  But - we're not. Apparently the kids showed up. And extra-specially, young single women showed up. And so - democracy gets to limp along for another day. The one caution I would add to this celebration is that the only thing that is preventing a full-on Christian theocracy is the constitution.. Christianity has a long, colorful, history of forcing Christianity on other traditions.. They'd do more of it today if the rack and the flaming stake were not outlawed in most places... But for now - Well done, women!  Thank you kids!  The kids are alright. ~
