A couple things:  - I finished the mala, but not before completely dulling a drill bit trying to make one of the lava stone beads into a guru (three-holed) bead. Note to self - use a diamond tipped bit next time you drill stone, yo. - At meditation last night there was a 45+ minute dharma talk on  dukkha**  masquerading as a "short" dharma talk. Yikes. I suppose I should be thankful for the talk's wandering delivery, because I experienced dukkha up close and personal in a way that no dharma talk, no book, no nuttin' could ever provide as effectively. It was a lovely dance in retrospect - an unexpectedly lengthy talk and me just wishing it was over..    Hah. **dukkha - suffering, unsatisfactoriness, stress - whatever youse want to call it.. ~
