At the recent CPAC gathering of Republican fascists, a nice, handsome, well-groomed, YoungChristianMan, Michael Knowles offered up the following prescriptive: If [transgenerism] (sic) is false, then for the good of society... transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely The other nice Christian Men and Women in the room at the time gave this sentiment a hearty round of applause. Well... let me tell you my Christian Brothers and Sisters, apparently your now-boldly-broadcasted message has long been received by the Trans community. Your years of hard work to purify the Empire by stigmatizing Trans people has resulted in Trans people (especially youth) doing your work for you. A March 2022 paper posted to the National Institute of Health's National Library of Medicine indicated that some %82 of Trans people have considered suicide and that %40 have attempted suicide. When focusing solely on trans youth the data is even more grim with %86 reporting suicidal ideation and a staggering %56 actually attempting to kill themselves. My recommendation for my Christian Fascist Brothers and Sisters? You would be well served if you recollected that bit about millstones in the Gospels. ~ |
