Years before the Boston Globe brought the
building down on the pompous jackasses
in Rome, Sinead did it on SNL in 1992.
Tearing up a picture of the man*
behind the Church's pedophilia enablement
program earned her withering abuse
from Catholics and Christians.
She wasn't wrong.
They were.
I loved her music.
I loved her voice.
I loved her rage.
I loved her bravery.
I'll not see her like again.
*man - Pope John Paul II - who slow-walked and
sandbagged clergy abuse cases. For his efforts the
Boyz Club in Rome made him a saint..
