This structure has been a fixture on the road to the wildlife
refuge for as long as I can remember. For the longest
time, it had a sign on it that read "Got KI?" in
response to risk locals face if the Seabrook
Nuclear Power Plant ever went
tits up in a bad way. "KI"
was a reference to
Potassium Iodide (symbol KI)
which helps prevent thyroid cancer due to
radiation poisoning which will follow
hot on the heels of a catastrophic failure at
Seabrook..
I'm surprised the structure is still upright as it is no longer
closed to the weather.
I like the house because it reminds me what affordable
housing in The Empire now looks like - a fishing
shack that is about to fall over..
