People try, despite mountains of evidence to the contrary, to turn "Nature" into their own versions of a Disney movie or some sort of immersive amusement experience. Congregants of the Cathedral of the Great Wide World would prefer it if you knew the truth before visiting their sanctuaries (the beautiful word given to the tiny corners of the world begrudgingly carved out for them..). They are not here for your enjoyment. While you may enjoy visiting their spaces, your enjoyment is not uppermost in their minds. What is uppermost in Congregants' minds is their survival and the survival of their offspring. So - with that information - Congregants ask that you act with at least a modicum of respect when you are with them. You are in their house after all. Try not to be a loudmouth boor. Try not to shit on the rug..
